Double legal awards success for Browne Jacobson

March 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Browne Jacobson scooped two awards at the Nottinghamshire Law Society Awards 2012.

Mark Blois, Head of the firm’s Education Team, won Solicitor of the Year whilst Michael Sadler picked up the Young Solicitor of the Year accolade.

Mark Blois was recognised for his outstanding contribution over the past year. Mark is recognised as a leading authority on education law and one of the top three education lawyers in the country.  His team is regarded by the Department for Education as one of the leading advisers on the Government’s academies schools programme, having advised on one in 10 of all academy conversions nationwide.

Michael Sadler is a member of the firm’s Construction and Property Risk Team. He was recognised for his role as a trusted adviser to a broad range of public and private sector clients including property developers, business owners, insurers and schools in addition to his commitment to client care, innovation and mentoring.

The firm’s success in Nottingham came less than 24 hours after the firm won ‘Law Firm of the Year’ at the Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards 2012.
