Eduplanet21 Announces its New "Collaborative Groups at Work" Learning Path

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 29, 2012 - Mechanicsburg, PA -- Eduplanet21, the organization personalizing professional development for K-12 educators through its content-based, expert-guided learning platform, announces its new "Collaborative Groups at Work" Learning Path.

Eduplanet21’s Learning Paths take large-scale issues in education and divide them into modules for educators to study.  Through the multi-modal design, teachers learn while viewing presentations from experts, becoming part of a social learning network of practitioners and putting their learning into practice within their own classrooms.  

Modules for Collaborative Groups at Work include: What Makes a Group Work, Six Functions of Productive Groups, Structuring for Success, and Design and Delivery - Start to Finish.

Dr. Laura Lipton and Bruce Wellman, M.Ed., are masters in guiding educators and other professionals toward effective ways to collaborate in groups.  Lipton is an educational researcher whose background in organizational learning provides the basis for the solutions she recommends in her seminars and writing.  Wellman, a former K-12 educator, is an expert on thinking skill development and ways to facilitate collaborative groups.
