Whole Foods Madison and Wagner Farm Arboretum Team up for a 5% Day

WFA has teamed up with Whole Foods Madison on April 3 to help raise money for its new Greenhouse Project. Whole Foods-Madison will donate 5% of the days total net sales on April 3, 2012 help raise money for three new greenhouses.

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- WARREN, NJ – Wagner Farm Arboretum has teamed up with Whole Foods Market in Madison, New Jersey, to help raise money for its new Greenhouse Project.  Whole Foods-Madison will donate 5% of the days total net sales on April 3, 2012 help raise money for three new greenhouses.  These new greenhouses will provide educational programs, a native planting area as well as a Butterfly Conservatory, all available to the public.  In addition, they will support the Growing to Give program of the Giving Garden through the nurturing of seedlings in Greenhouse #3.  Protecting the young plants started by the children in the program allows for healthier plants that produce better lettuce, peppers, beans and other vegetables which are donated to local area food banks.
Come support the Arboretum by purchasing your food and beverages on April 3, 2012 at the Madison Whole Foods, 222 Main Street, Madison.  WFA members will be on hand to talk about the programs and answer any questions.
