Atour Eyvazian Named Chairman of the Board of H.E.A.R.T.

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Atour Eyvazian has been named chairman of the board of H.E.A.R.T. (Housing, Entrepreneurship And Readiness Training), a Houston nonprofit organization that provides real-world job training for low-income Houston adults with developmental disabilities.  The mission of the organization is to promote structured independence for adults living with developmental difficulties by providing innovative education, training, housing and employment programs.  Once a special needs child becomes an adult, available options for continuing education and job training become severely limited. H.E.A.R.T. fills a gap in existing programs for developmentally disabled adults.
   Atour Eyvazian is the largest Jack in the Box franchisee in the U.S. with 51 stores in Houston, 59 in San Antonio and 10 in Sacramento.  Atour came to America at the age of 18, having fled Iran by walking out over the mountains into Turkey.  His first job in the U.S. was as a part-time janitor at a Jack in the Box restaurant in Los Angeles.
