Scott Cundy Joins Reliance Yacht Management in Australia

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Scott first joined Reliance in 1996 and quickly established himself as one of the leading delivery Captains in the business. He developed an excellent reputation, delivering yachts for brokers, charter companies and private clients worldwide. In the following 8 years he sailed over 200,000nm, including the North and South Atlantic (30 crossings), Pacific (4 crossings), Caribbean Sea, North Sea and the Mediterranean.

In 2004 he was headhunted by one of our leading clients He became responsible for all technical aspects of a fleet of 40 Charter Yachts based in the Windward Islands in the Caribbean. In 2007 he became the Moorings Base Manager for Canouan Island, W.I. In 2010 he took up the role of Base Manager for the 2 leading charter companies in the World under the banner of Tui Marine based in the Seychelles. During his time as a base Manager he was responsible for receiving vessels in to his fleet post Delivery he has experienced both sides of the business and has a great understanding of owners requirements.

The Australian dollar has not been so high against the US Dollar since the early 1980s and many potential yacht owners are looking to the US and Europe to snap a bargain. Scott’s knowledge of the leisure marine market, his personal sailing experience and excellent customer service will be an asset to anyone looking to have the yacht delivered to or from Australia.
