Digital WarRoom becomes first e-discovery technology firm to require CEDS certification

Leading e-discovery firm says “reputation rests on the quality of our people" and will require CEDS as "endorsement to our clients" of commitment to "controlling risk and cost of litigation"
March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Miami — Digital WarRoom by GGO, a top software platform for ESI processing, analysis, hosting, review, conversion and document production, has become the world's first technology and consulting organization to require the Certified E-Discovery Specialist credential as a condition of employment for new personnel in project management, analysis and technical positions.

The Seattle-based company, which this week announced the release of version 8.3 of its platform, is not new to CEDS certification. It previously required several top executives to earn the CEDS credential.

The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) awards the CEDS credential to qualified candidates who pass a rigorous, proctored examination offered at 600 secure testing centers worldwide.

“Reputation rests on quality of our people”
“Our reputation rests on the quality of our people, their understanding of the legal framework of e-discovery and the technical practices in securing, processing, and producing ESI," said Digital WarRoom GGO president, Bill Gallivan, in the company's Seattle headquarters.

"We hire the best and the brightest, and then invest in CEDS certification and continuing education. It’s an endorsement to our clients that GGO is committed to controlling the risk and cost of litigation,” he added.

"Groundbreaking step to assure core competence of employees”
Charles Intriago, a lawyer, who is president of ACEDS, said, “We’re proud Digital WarRoom, a very respected e-discovery service provider, has taken this groundbreaking step to assure the core competence of its employees and provide its clients with evidence of its commitment to controlling risk and cost through the work of certifiably knowledgeable and skilled professionals.”

Digital WarRoom (at http://www.digitalwarroom.com) will be a Gold Sponsor at the ACEDS Annual Conference April 2-4, 2012, at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, FL and is an ACEDS Affiliate Member.
