YFM Equity Partners inspires Merseyside entrepreneurs to grow businesses

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Over 40 accountants, other advisers and representatives from small and medium-sized businesses in Merseyside attended the event and heard from guest speakers, Joseph Bergin, Head of North West investment at YFM Equity Partners, Andy Leach, CEO of North West Business Finance and Eugene Boyle who built a successful business in the facilities sector backed by YFM Equity Partners’ investment.

The North West Fund for Development Capital is a sub-fund of the £185m North West Fund that is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Earlier this month YFM Equity Partners completed its first deal from its new MEZZ finance product investing a significant sum in Castlerock Recruitment Group based in St Helens on Merseyside.

YFM Equity Partners recently launched its mezzanine finance product MEZZ to help growing businesses in the North West that require up to £2m of finance.

The new MEZZ product fills a gap in the market for a finance solution that is transparent and easily understandable – a loan with a small equity option.  The MEZZ product will suit businesses looking to finance their expansion plans, raise money for capital expenditure, to develop new markets, recruit new staff or indeed to fund every-day cash flow needs.
