Bay Point Urgent Care Receives Certified Urgent Care Designation

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Bay Point Urgent Care, located in Tampa, FL, has received the Certified Urgent Care designation which distinguishes it as a true urgent care center.  The clinic provides patients with walk-in, extended-hour medical attention with licensed providers for a large scope of medical conditions and has met all of the Urgent Care Association of America’s established criteria.

The urgent care center opened on Saturday, August 6th, 2011 and is located at 1155 South Dale Mabry Hwy., across from Publix supermarket.  The hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 9:00pm and Saturday/Sunday from 9:00am – 6:00pm.  The state of the art facility is equipped with advanced technology including digital x-ray and an electronic medical records (EMR) system.  Most major insurances accepted.  Dr. Andrew A. Boyer, a native of Tampa, is the medical director and owner. Upon graduation from Jesuit High School and completion of his undergraduate education at Tulane University, Dr. Boyer attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He has extensive training and experience in Urgent Care, Orthopedics and Emergency Medicine.
