March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Twenty-one-year-old Matt Frahm began his racing career at the age of 14 competing at local New England speedways. Throughout Frahms early years racing around his local home tracks, he racked up wins and several top 5 and 10 place finishes and even capped off a season as Rookie of the Year.

Matt competed mostly in the Pro All Stars Series North (said to be New England’s premier traveling pro-stock division). In the 2010 season, while running a limited schedule in the Pro All Stars series, Matt had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a K&N East Series car (Formerly Busch North) to compete at tracks such as New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the historic Martinsville Speedway in Virginia where he and the team would bring home an eighth place finish in their debut race.

2011 showed signs of being another busy season for Matt, yet a promising one as well. Matt started off the year by attending a driver seminar in Daytona, Florida during speed weeks which is mandatory of new drivers 18 to 21years of age coming through the ranks of NASCAR. While in Daytona, Matt would also have the opportunity to work with the #39 Go Green Racing NASCAR Nationwide team under the ownership of Archie St. Hilaire. The newly formed relationship between Matt and the team would allow him to work with them for a handful of races as he learned about the cars and the series itself.

"I'm really excited about this deal. For people and NASCAR fans that don't know me, I struggled with my weight as a kid and I lost over 100 pounds as a teenager, which gave me the confidence to race. Stated Frahm. “That’s why New Lifestyle Diet is a great program for me to endorse, and I have already begun using their meal replacement bars during my heavy training schedule."

Roughly half way through the 2011 Nationwide season, a deal was put together between Go Green Racing and Frahm to compete in three Nationwide events including New Hampshire Motor Speedway, O’Reilly Raceway Parkin Indianapolis, Indiana and Phoenix International Raceway. Frahm gained valuable knowledge and experience about the Nationwide series, the cars and was able to build a closer relationship with the Go Green Racing Team.

Hamilton Erridge, the President of New Lifestyle Diet.com remarked “We are really excited to be working with Matt Frahm and feel that he is an inspiration to NASCAR fans that want to lose weight and change their lives.”

No stranger to weight loss, Erridge had lost over 100 pounds nearly 10 years ago and started the New Lifestyle Diet Corporation in 2004 to help people lose weight with their easy and effective program.  “I am really proud of Matt” stated Erridge.  “I know what it’s like to feel bad about your weight and the fact that he’s lost his weight and moved this far in his career is so inspirational.”

In 2012 Frahm relocated to Mooresville, NC, ten minutes from the Go Green Racing shop, to work with the team in day-to-day operations and to secure funding for specific races in the 2012 season.  With a very heavy schedule coming up, Frahm and Go Green Racing Team owner want to keep him strong and focused for race day.

Frahm noted “If I hadn't lost the weight, I never would have had the opportunity to become a driver. As a driver, we are athletes and have to stay in the best possible shape. Not to mention, getting in and out of the cars isn't an easy thing to do when you are overweight. So, I'm always aware of my previous weight problem and it’s something that I work hard to stay on top of every day.”

With a grueling 2012 racing season coming up, Frahm is laser focused on his health, driving and advancing his career as a top notch, winning race car driver.  “I look forward to 2012 season and to finish as best as possible for our team and all of our fans.” said Frahm.

When Frahm is not behind the wheel of a race car, he’s working on completing his degree in business administration.   Frahm maintains a strict diet and stays in shape with a regimented workout program five-to-six days a week in the gym. He also enjoys family, friends, fishing, camping and snowboarding.

Founded in 2004, New Lifestyle Diet not only allows people to rapidly lose weight, but more importantly, learn how to keep it off.

In working with thousands of dieters, we’ve come to recognize that while people can be successful on many weight loss programs, unless a person is able to overcome a key set of universal issues – the person is ultimately destined to put the weight back on.

Since our goal is to ensure that this is the last diet you'll ever need, you're provided with a comprehensive set of lesson plans for changing your life. By following the program, you'll learn to identify the behaviors that are causing you to be overweight, and more importantly, how to overcome them. As a result, on the New Lifestyle Diet, you won't just be losing weight quickly, you'll be learning how to keep it off for the rest of your life.
