The Stem occupations will grow from 6.8 million in 2008 to 8 million by 2018. The United States is projected to have full employment growth and high level of prosperity in the American economy. The stock market is projected to become a bull market in 2017-2018. The only problem is that the American educational pipeline will be lacking qualified Americans to take these STEM occupations.
How many jobs will be available? The 2.4 million job openings will require that 65% American students have a B.A. or B.S degree in a STEM major. The remaing 35 will be filled by students who have A.A. or A.S. or special industry certification. Currently, the STEM gap is being filled by 17% foreign workers. Americans are not majoring in these fields in college.
The University Clubs of America will be using a new Einstein Stem Navigation System. This system uses knowledge management to increase student interest in these fields. The Einstein method uses Powerpoints, Videos and artifical intelligence software to give students a learning map of knowledge. The University Clubs will use this on K-12 Campus as part of the University agenda. Later, the University Clubs will be using in home tutors to reinforce the STEM learning system. University Club will empower students to find the connection between STEM knowledge base and College majors for Stem careers.
We need advisors and sponsors to activate our University Clubs on K-12 campuses to create the best learning opportunities for American Students!
