Vizigy eLearning Technologies and Ambivo announce collaborative effort to integrate media platforms

March 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Vizigy eLearning Technologies and Ambivo announced their collaborative efforts to integrate their respective media technology platforms.  These efforts are intended to extend Ambivo's deployment capabilities that allow users of the Ambivo media collaboration suite to easily and quickly connect video creation and editing capabilities to Vizigy's eLearning media management platform.

The combination of their two platforms will allow users to have a completely integrated video eLearning environment where they can capture video, edit it and then publish it as part of an on-line video course.  This brings a powerful capability to DIY cloud based eLearning environments that bypasses the more traditional multi-step approach of 1) digitally capturing the video from a camera, 2)  using a standalone PC or MAC application to create and edit videos for instruction, 3) uploading and encoding the completed video to a video server, then 4) creating a course or lessons in an eLearning application and 5) linking the video on the server to the lesson.  With the collaborative suite from Ambivo and Vizigy, this is accomplished in fewer steps within a single environment.  Users can capture, edit, encode and build video-based lessons.
