Fourth Quarter Producer, J-Mac, and artist Yung Berg: A Powerful Combo

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 27, 2012 - Yung Berg, has had numerous successes in the business since he was first signed to DMX's label Bloodline Records back in 2001. After he made his debut on the "Exit Wounds" soundtrack as rapper Iceberg, he continued honing his craft not only as an artist but as an accomplished songwriter. In the mid 2000's, Yung Berg hit #18 on the Billboard 100 with his single "Sexy Lady." This led to him being signed with Epic Records, and since, he has stacked success after success as an artist and songwriter.

While putting together the tracks for his upcoming album "Mikkey and Mallory," Berg couldn't help but press replay on beats from a certain producer. The tracks belonged to rising star, J-Mac, from the Fourth Quarter Entertainment camp. J-Mac, a former NC State drum line member, has a noticeable command of his drum patterns, which makes sense. What doesn't make sense is how talented J-Mac is at making unusually soulful beats. It almost makes you think he was born in another era.

Yung Berg decided to take the following beat and make it the first track on his upcoming album "Mikkey and Mallory." The song is entitled "Redemption" and it came out super strong, with a dope video to match. Yung Berg just had one more request from J-Mac and Fourth Quarter, "Send me MORE beats!"
