PRLog - March 27, 2012 - SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Author Dennis K. Hausker is realistic about the flawed and dark nature of society and allows this to come through in some of the characters he creates. But where great evil is found great good and virtue are also found. Book I of this trilogy, author Dennis K. Hausker has created compelling characters you come to love and wish for them a safe journey home. They meet dark and villainous characters that set the stage for an archetypical and confrontational battle between good and evil that will ultimately take place in this imaginary universe.

Although written as a fantasy, “The messages I feel are believable are no matter what happens you can overcome it,” quoted Dennis Hausker during a recent interview. “Real life isn't easy and there are guaranteed to be serious hurdles,” he goes on to say. “There really is good and bad in everyone. We can rise up to our best or sink down to our worst on any given day.”
The way society and evil treat women in particular play a part in this book. “What do you think evil does to helpless innocence?” is a memorable quote from within the book. Dennis Hausker said, “As far as a positive, in life it isn't that you get knocked down, endure travails, setbacks and humiliations, it's that you got back up to overcome those experiences and became better people. Where we end up speaks volumes about us.”
As far as the continuation of the trilogy, “Buckle your seatbelt,” said the author. “I wrote scary scenes, terrifying travails, deeply moving moments as we see the worst and the best in people. Nobody is all bad or all good,” he said. “I love to have unexpected twists and turns; I like to drop bombs on the reader and shake them about like rag dolls. The final battle and the aftermath are titanic and I must say unexpected. I love this series!” He certainly has the attention of a growing group of fans.
