Chamber to Host Informational Political Candidate Panel Discussion

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 27, 2012 - Because of redistricting, 2012 is an important year for local, state and national elections. For this reason, the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce’s Business Issues Committee is offering support to residents contemplating running for local election.

The chamber will host an informational Political Candidate Panel Discussion that will share insights with and answer campaign-related questions from current and prospective candidates.  Don “Toby” Tobin will act as moderator of the session, and will be joined by a panel of former or current elected officials:

Jason DeLorenzo      Palm Coast City Council Member
Tom Lawrence         Grand Haven CDD Board Member
Jim O’Connell         Former Flagler County Commissioner  
Dr. William “Bill” Proctor   Florida State Representative

Panel participants will discuss their campaign experiences and cover topics like fundraising strategies, campaign “do’s and don’ts,” effective communications, building the right team and raising your visibility. Local marketing expert Cindy Dalecki will share hints to help candidates expand their reach using Social Media.

This must-attend panel discussion is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18 from 5 to 7PM in the chamber’s Flagler Room, located at 20 Airport Road in Palm Coast.
