The Park catering team also joined in the fun, providing post-race light refreshments outside The Nucleus central facilities building and selling ginger bread Sports Relief characters in The Nucleus restaurant. Additional money was also raised via donation buckets situated at the Park entrance and exit.
Park Manager Katherine Maguire commented: “Both the Park team and our tenants made a huge effort to raise funds for Sports Relief this year and it was fantastic to see so many participants from our tenant companies coming out to join the Park team for the mile race. We work hard to foster a lively and friendly community spirit at Chesterford and it is on occasions like this that we really reap the rewards. Thank you to all our tenants who took part and gave so generously for this very worthy cause.”
Team members from Security, Catering, Maintenance and the Gym all took part to help raise a grand total of £770.00.
