Evans Cycles Opens New Edinburgh Store

March 26, 2012 - PRLog -- The new store which opens on April 2nd is situated in the prestigious Exchange Place retail and leisure space and occupies unit 1A which covers 6296sq ft. The store will stock a comprehensive range of bikes all of which can be test ridden to ‘Try before you buy’. Styles include folding and hybrid through to road, mountain and kids models and the store features top brands such as BMC, Cannondale, Specialized and Pinnacle. In addition, the store will stock a wide range of clothing components and accessories and features an in-store service centre and facility to test ride bikes.

Evans Cycles will be supporting the launch of the new store with a number of special offers and promotions geared towards cyclists. These include a ‘free safety bike check’ for all customers from 2nd-8th April inclusive; 10% off 2012 bikes, 20% off bike servicing and 15% off parts & accessories and more. An in-store consumer event is being planned for May with a guest rider from a world renowned pro-race team and details of this event will be provided soon.

In addition to the in-store offering, Evans Cycles will be supporting the Edinburgh store with a busy Social Media and on-line presence. A dedicated Edinburgh cycle blog has been established which keeps Edinburgh cyclists updated about staff, stock and information of interest. A Facebook page provides a platform for comments, content, offer downloads and competitions and you can also click ‘Like’ to enter a competition to win a Morvelo Tee. This will be supported by Twitter. There will also be an Evans Cycles dedicated section on the main Evans Cycles website http://www.evanscycles.com/edinburgh
