PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 25, 2012 - Grand Canyon Jeep Tours & Safaris now offers a new walking tour that focuses on the Kaibab Forest and Grand Canyon National Park.  The new Safari and Rim Walk Tour takes guests to the edge of the Grand Canyon via the Kaibab Forest.  The tour follows an old stagecoach trail to many different sites in the forest.  Guests will have a chance to view wildlife such as elk, deer, turkey and even the protected California condor while enroute to the Grand Canyon.  At the Grand Canyon, guests disembark and begin the walking part of the tour.  During the walking tour, guides discuss the history of the Grand Canyon area, the early settlers, the significance of the structures designed by Mary Colter and the geology of the Canyon while guests stroll along its edge.  The tour offers beautiful views and a glimpse of what life was like over 100 years ago.
