“We are excited to bring this classic San Francisco-based restaurant to Roseville,” said Ben Dosanjh, co-owner of the new franchise. “People in the area have been asking for this for quite a while and we are looking forward to opening very soon.”
The Cheese Steak Shop, Northern California’s largest cheese steak dining chain, has been known for its authentic cheese steaks for over 25 years and has been a favorite of families, sports teams and business people throughout Northern California. The sandwiches are made fresh to order using only the best quality meat, cheese, peppers and rolls imported directly from Philadelphia.
Work is already underway at the 1560 square foot location. The new franchisees are currently planning for an early Summer opening date.
“The build out is moving quickly and soon people in the area will be able to enjoy the truly original Philadelphia style sandwiches from The Cheese Steak Shop,” said Kam Dosanjh, co-owner of the Roseville restaurant. “For three decades customers across the Bay Area have enjoyed their sandwiches and we look forward to bringing this first location to Roseville.”
The Roseville Cheese Steak Shop will be open from 11:00am to 9:00pm Sunday through Thursday and 11:00am to 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday. The Cheese Steak Shop offers dine-in and carryout services. They have a wide selection of sandwiches featuring varieties of beef and chicken cheese steaks and vegetarian and Italian hoagies with an abundant amount of side dishes.
Based in Hercules, Calif., The Cheese Steak Shop has 30 franchised and company owned restaurants throughout Northern California. They have been featured in many food magazines and local newspapers. In the mind of many Bay Area customers, their “Caution May Be Habit Forming” slogan may truly speak for itself.
