By: Ridgefield Library This year’s themed event, Festival Provençal, like Coffeehouse Cantata and Carnival in Venice before it, will feature stories and songs about travel and exploration. Written especially for the festival by Ridgefield Writers Guild members, the evening program includes new works by satirist Lauren Salkin, http://thinkspin.com, and memoirist Aurora Lopez Cancino, http://conversationsacrossthetable.blogspot.com/ Among the guild's honored guests is writer, musician and teacher, Chris Belden, http://carryonthenovel.wordpress.com/ Audience participation is encouraged, so please come in costume. We will, too. French wine, cheese and bread will be served along with our serenade. All we need is thou. Seating is limited and registration is required. To register, visit Ridgefield Library Events.
