W.J. Walker is a retired Registered Nurse with experience in some of America’s busiest metropolitan emergency rooms. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing, and has drawn heavily from her career for this novel. She lives in Michigan with her husband of forty-one years, their yellow Lab, Lucy, and their Tabby cat, Rusty.
