ISHM is proud to have met the exacting standards required by CESB for accreditation. According to Jan Rosenberg, past president and current Treasurer of ISHM said "The reaccreditation by the CESB validates that the CSHM stands among the very few certifications for safety and health professionals that are fully recognized as meeting rigorous accreditation standards. This means that those in the safety and health field who hold the CSHM certification have demonstrated through examination that they are among a select group of professionals who possess the expertise, knowledge, and skill to competently perform their jobs".
ISHM certificants and candidates as well as leaders, volunteers and staff must give priority to health and safety interests related to the protection of people, and maintain high standards of integrity and professional conduct as described in the certification standards.
