New Retailer Promotes Made in USA Apparel, Accessories, Outdoor and Pet Gear

March 23, 2012 - PRLog -- The importance of buying American cannot be understated and it has never been as important as it today.  Our parents, brothers and sisters, children, neighbors and friends are unemployed.  Our trade balance (the amount of exports versus imports) grows wider every day.  The Made in USA brand is more desirable internationally then it is in our own backyard.  These are the challenges we face today and the most important thing we can do for our country is Buy American.  

“We believe the promotion of Buy American is long overdue,” says Marcus Snyder, Co-Founder of Abraham and Lucas, “Our society has not put a great emphasis on buying domestic, but that is changing.  The Buy American Movement is the fastest growing movement in recent years.  Red, White and Blue is the new Green and Abraham and Lucas is at the forefront of promoting the movement and providing an outlet to buy domestically made alternatives” says Snyder.

Abraham and Lucas is quickly expanding its Made in USA product offerings through its online outlet, www.AbrahamLucas.com, future plans include retail outlets throughout the USA,  “We will start with one location and grow from that point.  We would love to see Abraham and Lucas stores in every major mall in the US.  If we provide consumers with reasonably priced Made in the USA alternatives, the products will sell themselves. We just need to get the products to the consumers and right now we are doing this through our online outlet.” Says Snyder, “We are excited to see our country embrace this movement.  It’s growing and we still have a long way to go and we are excited to be a part of it.”
