Puerto Rico to host its first annual Restaurant Week in May 2012

March 23, 2012 - PRLog -- San Juan, PR – March 23, 2012 – In May 2012, Puerto Rico will celebrate its first annual Restaurant Week, joining cities like New York, Amsterdam, Madrid and Singapore in this world-wide gastronomic celebration.  During May 14 – 20, over 35 restaurants will offer three course prix-fixe dinner menus for a promotional price, converting the San Juan Metropolitan Area into a dining mecca.   Locations include San Juan, Santurce, Condado, Miramar, Isla Verde, Guaynabo and Hato Rey.  

This is a unique opportunity for locals and visitors to try a new venue or sample a creative menu at their favorite restaurant.  Restaurant Week will help position Puerto Rico as one of the top culinary destinations in the world, offering a range of dining options, cuisines and price points to satisfy every palate.  To participate, simply make a reservation at your chosen establishment and ask for the restaurant week menu.  Then comes the best part: eat, drink and enjoy your evening!
