Prior to joining IGI Health, Gregorio was president and CEO of Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center, where he was responsible for the operations and management of a 230-bed free standing hospital. His role included strategic plan development;
Previously, Gregorio was founder and chairman of the board of Health e-cITI NJ, Inc., a network created to bring together New Jersey caregivers with surrounding regional healthcare industry stakeholders. Gregorio also served as a consultant to the NJ-HITEC ONC Awarded Regional Extension Center where he authored components of a federal grant that awarded NJ-HITEC $23 million, the third highest award in the country. He also served as vice president, chief information officer and member of executive leadership at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, a 673-bed academic medical center with an annual operating budget in excess of $600 million.
Gregorio is an adjunct professor in Healthcare Information Systems at the Department of Industrial Engineering. The program provides undergraduates and graduates with knowledge and expertise for the efficient design, management and operation of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, nursing facilities, clinics, physician offices and pharmacies.
A resident of Ridgewood, NJ, Gregorio holds an MBA in management from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and a B.S. in organization management from Nyack College, Nyack, NY. His certifications include: C&L SUMMIT Strategy and Product Lifecycle Development and PwC Ascendant Planning and Project Management. He served as chapter vice president for NJ HIMSS, and is a member of HIMSS, CHIME, and ACHE, and a board member of NJIT School of Management.
