Kayak for a Cause XII Kicks Off

Kayak for a Cause kicks off their 12th year of kayaking for charity.
 
March 23, 2012 - PRLog -- On March 28, 2012, Kayak for a Cause will kick-off it's 12th year of blending love for the sporting of kayaking, and a commitment to helping good causes. The annual Kayak for a Cause Kick-Off Party will take place at the Black Bear Saloon in South Norwalk, CT on Wednesday, March 28th from 6:00pm-9:00pm. The event will be attended by KFAC organizers, paddlers, volunteers, and the charities that ultimately benefit from the cause. Kayak for a Cause XII is scheduled for July 21, 2012, when kayakers will return to the Long Island Sound for the annual event. Kayak for a Cause was created in 2000, by Miles Spencer and Scott Carlin. Since it's inception, KFAC has raised over $2 million dollars, and has successfully led over 1500 kayakers to the beach. In 2006, KFAC set the Guinness World Record for most sea kayaks launched simultaneously (303).
