Kayak for a Cause XII is scheduled for July 21, 2012, when kayakers will return to the Long Island Sound for the annual event. Kayak for a Cause was created in 2000, by Miles Spencer and Scott Carlin. Since it's inception, KFAC has raised over $2 million dollars, and has successfully led over 1500 kayakers to the beach. In 2006, KFAC set the Guinness World Record for most sea kayaks launched simultaneously (303). Anyone interested in kayaking or volunteering for KFAC XII is encouraged to attend the party to learn more about the event and charities. Information can also be found at www.kayakforacause.com.
