The Jon Block Group Initiates First Tennis Sponsorship With David Konstantinov

March 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Expanding upon the firm’s tremendously successful sponsorship program in motorcycle road racing, The Jon Block Group is pleased to announce its first tennis sponsorship with an endorsement of 17 year old San Francisco native, David Konstantinov.  As succinctly put by Kurt Burgess, the Group’s business development leader, “Our unwavering laser focus on supporting exceedingly gifted road racing athletes translates naturally to another high-powered individual sport, tennis, that requires a similarly unique level of personal dedication.  And, tennis is a passion of our founder who has been intimately involved in the sport for over 40 years.  This almost guarantees a successful outcome to our sponsorship involvement.”

Training at his home base, the San Francisco Tennis Club (http://www.westernathleticclubs.com/psrsf/), David works on court with Lance Johnson and off court with Leonard Ko.  In just a few months, the collaborations have paid dividends.  In 2012, David has reached the quarterfinals in Boys18s tournaments in Fresno and Modesto.  In his Men’s Open singles debut, he knocked off the #2 and #4 seeds en route to the final.
