Gas Natural Recovery Halt Drilling As A Precaution To the Guerrero Earthquake.

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 22, 2012 - Gas Natural Recovery (Mexico City), a leading innovator in the oil and gas industry today announced that work on one of their drilling operations in the Pacific Ocean was suspended for safety reasons after the earthquake that hit the Mexican state of Guerrero. The 7.4 quake who’s epicenter was 25km’s east of the City Ometepec, stopped the drilling on one of Gas Natural Recovery’s platforms for several hours until any potential damaged had been accessed.
Gas natural Recovery’s spokesperson Ms. Maria Alonso stated that “As a company safety of our employee’s and contractors is paramount. This platform was the nearest we (Gas natural Recovery) have to the earthquake and we wanted to make sure no damage was done to both the structure and also the drilling well before we continued. Both areas have now been given the all clear by our team of experts and work has now commenced.” “Gas Natural Recovery would also like to pass on our best wishes to those who have been affected by the Earthquake and will be sending aid from our Head Quarters in Mexico City to help the relief work in the Guerrero region.” Went on to say Alonso, spokesperson for Gas Natural Recovery.
