PRLog - Mar. 22, 2012 - ERLANGER, Ky. -- (Erlanger, KY) – Rick L. Phillips, Author of Dinky the Elf and Last Train to Murder, is proud to announce the publication of his third book, Project: Hero ($17.95/Lulu.com) http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/rickylouisphillips . This superhero novel is sure to thrill readers of all ages.

This 143-page superhero adventure begins as an old homeless man is found lying in the gutter, dead from old age. It is later discovered that he was once the World War II superhero called Flag-waver.

Daniel Urich, a wealthy retired superhero, wants to make sure nothing like this happens to the currently active superheroes and finds a way to help them.

But a threat from the past comes to the present and now this loosely gathered team of heroes must stand up to it.

Project: Hero will thrill younger readers who love adventure like they see in the movies about the X-Men and the Avengers. Older readers will also love the adventure and be reminded of how fun it was to read comic books when they were kids reading about Spider-man and Superman and all their Marvel and DC comic book friends.
