March 22, 2012 - PRLog -- The upcoming Nuclear Security Summit, which takes place March 26-27, is a massive event intended to bring over 50 international leaders and high-profile representatives together.  Participants such as US President Barack Obama, Chinese President Hu Jintao, and other prominent names are expected to attend this event.  

In a briefing earlier this week, reporters claim that White House officials plan on displaying the President’s four-year plan to secure nuclear materials internationally during the event.  One big topic that will be taken into consideration for next week’s event will be the strengthening cooperation against nuclear smuggling. This summit hopes to target at preventing loose nuclear materials from ending up with terrorists and other incompetent parties.  In addition to that, South Korea expresses its raising concern of the North’s launch with the other members of the stalled six-party aimed at nding the North’s nuclear weapons program.
