March 21, 2012 - PRLog -- San Francisco, CA- In the wake of anti-gay controversy surrounding the BBC edition of “Top Gear”,  On Tuesday March 27, 2012 at 9:00PM “Top Gear” on HISTORY will feature two openly gay hairstylists. San Francisco Bay Area Celebrity Stylist Clark Russell and fellow hairstylist Jeffrey Lotspeich , also Lady Gaga Illusionist by the name of “Bobbi Pinn”, will appear on the show alongside comedian and “Top Gear” star Adam Ferrera. The flamboyant duo, which were in the city promoting the “be Clarked” luxury hair care product line were chauffeured by the “Top Gear” team.

Clark Russell, who previously on The Style Network Show “Split Ends” in 2009, had a completely different experience HISTORY’s  “Top Gear” show.  Primarily based around auto-motives on the “Top Gear” show, Clark Russell was out of his element of celebrities, red carpet events and women’s fashion; but did learn quite a bit about mechanics.

Fellow hair stylist Jeffrey Lotspeich, who is a female illusionist specializing in Lady Gaga appearance, also had his first televised appearance on the show. No stranger to the stage in the San Francisco and East Bay drag show scene, Jeffrey aka Bobbi Pinn was also out of his element of drag, women’s fashion and beauty when he spent an evening chatting about auto-motives.

The participation of Clark Russell and Jeffrey Lotspeich will be part of the first appearance of female illusionist and openly gay hairstylist on the show, which has a largely male demographic viewership. Clark Russell will be chatting live about the show on his facebook after the show at www.facebook.com/clarkrussellsalon and Jeffrey will be tweeting on his Twitter page www.twitter.com/amonsterscloset .

Images and interviews are available upon request. Contact information for both Clark Russell and Jeffrey Lotspeich are listed above.
