March 21, 2012 - PRLog -- St. John’s, NL – March 19, 2012 – Goulds locals, Rick and Stephanie Kettlewell, have recently become the newest owners of an Integral Hockey Stick Repair franchise, servicing the city of St. John’s, along with the remainder of Newfoundland. The two will be providing the latest in composite hockey stick repair technology offering this service for everyone involved with the game, across the province. The repair process, developed by Canadian business owner, and founder of Integral Hockey Inc., Randy Langille, of Port Alberni, BC, is claiming to be the most advanced composite stick repair system in the industry. Additional details along with testimonials and a video clip showing the performance of a repaired composite stick, may be found on the Media page at the Integral Hockey website: http://www.integralhockeynl.com

Since the arrival of composite repair services, stick owners, when sending their broken sticks in for repair have resigned themselves to dealing with substantial loss of flexibility in their sticks - typically affecting several inches on either side of the break, along with a considerable increase in weight. The Integral Hockey repair process involves taking these broken sticks and repairing them with a hollow carbon fibre repair, applying true composite aerospace technology. The end result is no noticeable change in respect to weight, flex, kick-point and balance, the biggest complaint in repair systems to date.

Integral Hockey’s goal is to provide everyone involved within the burgeoning hockey community (teams, players and parents at both local and international levels), not only a trusted source in affordable composite stick repair but, in addition, superior quality and workmanship utilizing composite aerospace technology. This is particularly relevant for families attempting to put their kids through on a tight budget. Due to hockey-related expenses spiraling out of control, (i.e., stick replacement), many kids have been denied the opportunity to become involved in the sport. Integral Hockey’s focus is to provide a viable solution for this issue. In Langille’s own words, “We have taken a very real problem, solved it with the most high-tech solution on the market, and we're delivering it at a price that will work for everyone. Something we are very proud of.”

Integral Hockey Inc. and their associate franchises, are currently working with Junior A, Junior B, Triple A Midget and Bantam teams, up to and including, the Major Junior league levels, along with many recreational players. In addition, sticks have been tested at the NHL level, with a full endorsement from Jason Jaffray (Winnipeg Jets Organization), reporting excellent results on his own repaired stick. The recent support from Hockey Canada also bodes well for the company, providing added credibility to the product as an effective cost-savings solution.

In addition, Integral Hockey is doing their part in promoting a ‘Green’ agenda. They’ve implemented a system taking broken sticks beyond repair, and sending them to be ground into carbon fiber powder which can then be reused to manufacture other products, thereby reducing the carbon footprint from composite sticks that typically end up in a land-fill. Integral Hockey considers themselves to be ‘the ultimate Canadian recycling business’.
