NAWBO California announces newest affiliate partner, Women Impacting Public Policy, which joins California Small Business Association, Inventing Your Future Enterprise, Monterey Bay International Trade Association & Institute for Women Entrepreneurs

March 21, 2012 - PRLog -- NAWBO California, a federation of nine chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners, announced its newest affiliate partner, Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), a Washington, D.C.-based organization that educates and advocates on behalf of women-owned businesses within the nation’s legislative process.

NAWBO California [http://www.nawbo-ca.org] serves its business owner members through ongoing efforts to improve the state’s business climate. The non-profit organization offers educational programs, public advocacy initiatives and leadership training through its network of California NAWBO chapters.

“This partnership will provide both organizations with an even more effective presence on public policy,” said May Pon, NAWBO California President. “We have long been impressed with WIPP’s dynamic approach to interacting with the legislative process and its service as an influential business advocate. We look forward to further collaboration to encourage a healthy business climate for all entrepreneurs.”

Other Affiliate Partners are the California Small Business Association (CBA), Invent Your Future Enterprise, Monterey Bay International Trade Association (MBITA) and the Institute for Women Entrepreneurs (IWE).
