Rotary Club of Miami Shores Announces its Fly Old Glory Custom-Made American Flag Fundraiser

Let the old glory and patriotism fly for only $50 and receive American flags on four federal holidays

March 21, 2012 - PRLog -- MIAMI SHORES, Fla.  – The Rotary Club of Miami Shores announces its “Fly Old Glory” patriotic campaign of custom-made American flags for Miami Shores residences. The Rotary Club of Miami Shores will place American flags in the front yards of homes in the Miami Shores area during four federal holidays: Memorial Day (May 28, 2012), Independence Day (July 4, 2012), Veteran’s Day (Nov. 11, 2012) and President’s Day (Feb. 18, 2013) for a donation of $50. All proceeds of this fundraising campaign will return to the community to fund local service projects undertaken or supported by the Rotary Club of Miami Shores.  

“Show your patriotic support to our nation and we will place a custom made flag on your front lawn for four great American holidays,” said W. “AL” Davis, President of the Miami Shores Rotary Club. “Based on the success of this philanthropic campaign the Miami Shores Rotary Club might extend this to other Miami-Dade County areas.”
