Take a look around your house, pack up your car, and make a trip to the event with items like computers, phones, fax machines, printers, and wires.
Every year, the event allows people to free themselves of technology equipment that they want to get out of their home or office, but don’t know how. Throwing electronics away leads to pollution in landfills. It was once only frowned upon, but is now against North Carolina state law.
The Technology Spring Clean is a free and easy recycling drop off event, and was previously recognized as Triangle Business Journal’s Green Action Program of the Year. The event has gained popularity in Garner and surrounding communities like Fuquay-Varina, Clayton, and Raleigh.
WingSwept is thankful for the support of the event sponsors which include Triangle Recycling, Aversboro Road Baptist Church, Waste Industries, Town of Garner, International Minute Press, REX Wellness Center, SYSTEL, Garner Chamber of Commerce, Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce, Clayton Chamber of Commerce, Greater Smithfield-Selma Area Chamber of Commerce, S&A Cherokee, Jones Insurance, McDonald’s, and Timeless Promotionals.
