Some of the most exquistic crystal and hand crafted beads are used in its designs. The company designs earrings, bracelets and very long necklaces especially designed to go over what is called hijab (Muslim headscarf worn by many Muslim women). This company also raises money for the Baitul Salaam Network, Inc. and co-sponsored the International Purple Hijab Day 2012 this past February that was held in Atlanta.
The National Eid Toy and Gift Drive 2012 (estimated to begin July 21) is an annual drive that was started to make sure children from low income homes in the Islamic community and children who receive childcare services from Muslim daycare providers are given toys and gifts during the celebration that begins immedately following the 29 or 30 days of the Ramadan fast. Many of the parents of non-Muslim children who receive toys during this time put them away for their Christmas holidays.
