Dawna Lee Heising of MoreHorror.com Covers World Premiere of QUANTUM COPS at Web Series Unplugged

March 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Dawna Lee Heising and John Cox covered the world premiere of the multi-genre web series “Quantum Cops” at Busby’s East in Los Angeles, CA, at Mike McCarthy’s Web Series Unplugged event.  Heising interviewed Timothy Tau, Feodor Chin, Joshua Murphy, Kelvin Han Yee and Ina-Alice Kopp of Quantum Cops and Mike McCarthy, the founder of Web Series Unplugged.
The pilot episode of QUANTUM COPS, "Law & Chicoban", was released as the first short film in the Web Series Unplugged Festival.  QUANTUM COPS is a web series about two buddy cops who travel through different dimensions, and was directed by Timothy Tau and written, created and produced by Timothy Tau and Joshua Murphy.  The buddy-cop show is a Comedy/Action/Sci-Fi mash-up (mixing genre elements much like Timothy Tau's previous short film, "The Case") about two rogue cops with a renegade attitude, Bronson Law (Feodor Chin) and Bennie Chicoban (Joshua Murphy), who frequently clash with The Chief (Kelvin Han Yee).  The two rogue cops are not above exploiting the Rookie (David Huynh) whenever they need to, which is often. Mike McCarthy founded the El Cid Short Film Night and the Web Series Unplugged Club. He began showcasing monthly web series on Unplugged, and he now has a showcase every third Wednesday at El Cid.
