Cincinnati Countertops Company Grows

Concepts, a company that provides Indianapolis and Cincinnati kitchen countertops and other granite, quartz, and solid surface items, has been growing. Already in 2012, Concepts has expanded its production capability and bulked up its staff.

March 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Concepts, a company that provides the surrounding areas of Indianapolis, Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops, and other items made out of granite, quartz, and solid surface, has been growing. This local company survived the economic downturn, housing market bubble, and the end of the home buyer tax credit in 2010. In fact, it would be accurate to say that this company has more than survived. A mere 80 days into 2012, Concepts has added a new machine to expand its production capabilities as well as an additional six employees to its payroll.

This growth spurt can be attributed to two main characteristics: Flexibility and customer service. Concepts has remained flexible in the products offered as well as its customer base. Concepts has kept up with home trends in terms of the materials and colors customers find desirable. For instance, today Concepts’ biggest selling material is granite; however, five to ten years ago granite was considered too limited, too expensive, and not resilient enough by many consumers to make good countertops. In addition, Concepts has worked hard to find a balance between its different customer bases including business to business, retail, and commercial.

Perhaps even more important than flexibility is the company’s emphasis on customer service. Concepts offers free in-home sales calls as well as slab viewing appointments made around the customer’s schedule. Furthermore, Concepts leaves survey cards at all of its jobs to ensure customer satisfaction.

When Concepts opened its doors in 2003 it had a single employee. Before long, business had picked up enough to allow the company to move into a 24,000 square foot facility located in Batavia, Ohio. The fabrication facility aimed high. It was outfitted with a showing area for customers to view samples of solid surface, quartz, and granite slabs as well as state of the art equipment including  CNC workstations and a digital templating system. The company’s high aim did not fall short. Today, nine years later, Concepts has grown into two locations: Cincinnati (Batavia) and Indianapolis with a total of 18 employees.

Since Concepts started supplying the homes and businesses of Cincinnati countertops in 2003, the business has definitely grown. Concepts has remained flexible in its product focus and customer base as well as maintained hometown values centered around providing the best possible experience for the customer. Hometown values have not stopped the company from looking forward though. In Indianapolis, Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati kitchen countertops have never been more high tech!
