The Los Angeles Fashion magazine is releasing its first printed copies during the LA Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios event, where the top Fashion industry professionals and attending celebrities will have a chance to pick up the first printed edition

Exclusive Interviews with Kelly Nishimoto and Mikey Koffman (FWLA producer, Reality TV celebrity) are featured in this edition. The issue also features a guide to 2012 swimwear labels from Southern California such as: Beach Rays’ Betsey Johnson, Culture Swimwear and Nicolita Swimwear.
This year, The Los Angeles Fashion Magazine has partnered with the Gallery LA (producer of Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios) as a Media Partner along with KTLA 5 and Apparel News.
The LA Fashion magazine is committed to stay “green”. The printed publications are printed on demand, and the distribution numbers will be kept at a possible minimum. “We believe that paper publications should be considered Luxury items, not something you toss in a garbage can. Considering the natural resources used to create a publication, we should all look at alternatives when it comes to a magazine. But let’s not forget sometimes a printed magazine on a coffee table in retail store, or a designer’s studio is just irreplaceable. After all, we all love the feeling of paper, looking at beautiful big images and so forth…, it’s just that we need to find the balance of what and when” said Csaba Fikker founder of The LA Fashion magazine.
Digital distribution will be highly important at this publishing company. The magazine has plans to release digital issues on Apple’s NewsStand by the end of May 2012, allowing for monthly subscriptions from October 2012.
The Los Angeles Fashion magazine launched its website 6 months ago on October 15th. In a very short time The LA Fashion magazine has gained a large base of readers and social media followers, growing from 0 to over 24,000. Social media presence and the website combined, provided over 7 million impressions last month alone, and is expected to more than double in the next couple of months.
The LA Fashion Magazine has struck some notable media partnerships with several fashion events such as: LA Fashion Weekend, the Vancouver Fashion Week and WeddingSalon.com, opening the horizon for a broader reporting on fashion. Csaba Fikker announces the magazine will continue to be committed and focused on fashion in Los Angeles.
