By: Peter Schuyler Good Job, Thanks! Wins the 2012 LA Comedy Awards Producer's Choice Award for "Funniest Actress in a Comedy" for its lead Actress Stephanie Jones and the Award for "Funniest Web Series Go to http://goodjobthanks.com and enjoy! From the mind of Ryan Glasgow comes this dark comedy starring Stephanie Jones as casting director from hell, Linda Livingston Black. Each episode brings celebrity guest stars into Linda’s line of fire including: Jonathan Bennett from Mean Girls, Sandy Martin from Napoleon Dynamite, Kirsten Vangsness from Criminal Minds, Mo Gaffney from Absolutely Fabulous and Michael Fishman from Roseanne It's nearly impossible to be a "somebody"! And that doesn't JUST mean actors. It's casting directors, and agents, and producers, and editors you name it! We all want to work in Show-biz for the same reason. We're too weird to do anything else. This series is for people who HAVE to be in Show-biz. Season one is completed and Season two is in production. "Good Job, Thanks!" is about all of us. I am completely committed to positive change through biting, sarcastic, observational humor. This project is non-stop laughs combined with very topical and relatable issues for the Show-biz Professionals and the FUTURE of show biz, namely original content created solely for the internet, says Glasgow. Stephanie Jones as Linda Livingston-Black is pitch perfect, half evil bitch and half loveable curmudgeon. A series like this, with streams of actors pretending to be actors trying to get acting jobs, is one of the few places you can be over the top and get away with it. The actors that Linda sees are almost exclusively awful, their reading even too overdone for a role in a Lifetime movie, which means that the actual actors are actually pretty awesome. It’s funny, varied (almost never see the same people twice), and they curse plenty. http://www.placevine.com/ End
