Quincy, MA Single-family Home Prices Drop, Sales Rise February 2012

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 14, 2012 - The median price of single-family homes in Quincy, Massachusetts decreased in February 2012 while sales increased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, the largest exclusive buyer agent real estate firm in Massachusetts. The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes fell 2.9 percent in February 2012 compared to the previous year, a difference of $9,500.  Single-family home sales in Quincy, MA increased 19 percent in February 2012, a difference of four sales compared to February 2011.  

The median price of condominiums increased 28.6 percent in February 2012, a difference of $54,062 compared to the previous February. Condominium sales rose 45.5 percent in February 2012, a difference of five sales compared to February 2011.

Multi-family home prices rose 2.3 percent in February 2012, a difference of $9,000 compared to February 2011. Multi-family home sales in Quincy, MA rose 80 percent, a difference of four sales compared to the previous February.
