Like many companies, snc's internal infrastructure had, over timer, taken on a distinctive form. While staff, for example, were booking group meetings and tasks in Outlook, work schedules and activity plans were being generated in Excel. In addition the company was using CRM-Software for client addresses, project time planning and performance charts. “The multiplicity of data sources made our system very complex. Our solutions were keeping our clients happy, but they were having a negative impact on our staff, particularly in terms of administration,”
Lift-off for the new CRM-Project was April 2011. In just two months, the project team succeeded in transfering all the relevant data to Dynamics CRM. 85 percent of the snc requirements were covered by the standard version of the Microsoft solution software. The software amendments required to meet snc's technical idiosyncrasies were almost entirely met by formula adjustments. This meant that after a short Test Phase the system could go online.
Since last year 25 employees at snc are working with proRM 2011 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. On their Notebooks they're exclusively using the natively integrated Client in Outlook. With the sales, resource and project-management solution offered by proRM 2011, the consultancy firm was able to consolidate all customer related tasks on a single platform. This included, in addition to the project-management and the entire sales process, the marketing, project accounts and customer service functions. In order to illustrate the added value, transparent customer and project information is now accessible to all of the employees. Management dashboards now inform staff on, for example, the status of the sales pipeline, targets met and hours billed per project.
