"100% of the funds raised will be donated to the Tornado Relief Fund set up by Northside Christian Church," Chairperson Jeff Minton said. "We are honored to be a part of those efforts is some small way."
Samaritan's Purse, the Billy Graham Association organization known for its Christmas Shoebox program has about 50 volunteers living and working out of the Northside main campus. The International Christian relief and evangelism organization provides spiritual and physical aid to victims of war, poverty, natural disaster, and disease.
The dates for the fundraisers are Friday March 23, 2012 at Oaklawn Health & Rehab, 300 Shelby Station Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40245 and Friday April 6, 2012, at PCA Pharmacy also in Louisville. The group is looking for a southern Indiana location for a possible 3rd event.

Clean Socks Hope, Inc. is an advocacy group that raises awareness and donations for the homeless in the Louisville—S. Indiana area. They also offer help to defray the operational costs of street level feeding programs and shelters through volunteerism.
