Based at Seaway’s main office in Chicago, Mr. Redd is a highly accomplished banker and brings a wealth of knowledge in the real estate industry. His background includes the development of commercial and small business loans for the Naperville (IL) firm Redd and Associates. Previously, he served as a faith-based Commercial Loan Officer, Vice President of Commercial Lending and Branch Manager for several financial institutions.
Mr. Redd sees his new position as an opportunity to do what he does best. “I want to do something for the African-American community,” he said. “I look forward to helping develop commercial loans and increasing deposits, but I also have a real passion for helping our faith-based communities grow and succeed.” Mr. Redd noted Seaway’s great reputation and excellent track record in these areas as a perfect fit for him. “It takes dedication and hard work, but the results are rewarding,” he added.
Originally from Mississippi, Mr. Redd holds a B.A. degree from Tougaloo College.
