MyCase Hires Nicole Black to lead Cloud Computing Advocacy

March 20, 2012 - PRLog -- MyCase, Inc., the developers of MyCase, a social practice management™ platform for legal professionals, today announced that attorney Nicole Black, a well-known legal technology author, speaker, columnist, and widely regarded for her advocacy of cloud computing and social media in the legal profession, has joined the company as vice president primarily responsible for business development and customer engagement. Ms. Black will assume her full-time position with MyCase on April 2, 2012.

MyCase CEO and lawyer Matt Spiegel, who founded MyCase as a means for fellow attorneys to leverage web-based technologies to easily communicate with clients and manage their own practices, sees Nicole Black’s appointment as a way to significantly increase awareness and product use. “Nicole is a tremendous addition to our team. She already advises many firms and legal professionals on their use of mobile and web technologies and literally wrote the book on legal cloud computing and making the most out of SaaS technologies and the like. In her new role, Ms. Black will primarily focus on generating new interest in MyCase, developing educational and thought provoking content around cloud computing, collaboration, and effective use of legal social media and web-based practice management technology.
