Deerfield, IL-March 12, 2012 – Three lucky area girls will win an all-expenses-paid fantasy prom makeover, thanks to area businesses and the efforts of one dedicated local image consultant!

In an effort to foster positive self-awareness among the teens of our community, Gwen Rich, founder and owner of IMAGE Inside & Out, will sponsor the “Win a Prom Makeover” for 2012.  Teens in Deerfield, Highland Park and Lake Forest can enter the contest by submitting a video or writing a brief essay on the subject of why they should win the “Win a Prom Makeover” contest.

The purpose of the event is to help ONE girl in each of the above-mentioned communities to feel special about Prom this year, with many wonderful and lasting memories.

A winner will be selected from each of the three communities, and each winner will be able to choose her complete wardrobe for this year’s prom, including grooming.  Special thanks go to the local businesses that for the fourth time have come together to sponsor this exciting event. The sponsors are: Just Between Friends, Lori’s Designer Shoes, Midtown Athletic Club, On the Avenue Salon, Renu Day Spa, Salon Vole, Sharin Unlimited, and U.B.U Make-up.

As part of her business, Ms. Rich offers classes specifically designed to help teens with image issues.  She organizes and carries out the “Win a Prom Makeover” contest each year because inspiring a positive self-image among teens is her personal mission. Starting Monday, March 12th, 5-minute videos or 400-word essays should be submitted with the contestant’s name and phone number, to: winaprommakeover@comcast.net.
