He elaborates further, “These applications do nothing more than accessing parent web sites from mobile devices. Instead of desktop; job apps use a cell phone for surfing job portals without any value-added features. One has to painstakingly go through hundreds of thousands of vacancies many of those simply irrelevant. Whereas Civet is a complete job platform. It circulates entirely through Smartphone Network and pulls vacancies, which are suitable to user profile”
On installation, users can acquire two roles: Publisher and Job seeker
Publisher can publish IT-related Job openings, which are logged into a cloud based server and remain in circulation for 15 days.
Job seeker can register her credentials, including country, preferred city to work, skill sets, experience, etc. User can also attach a resume while registering.
The core of Civet is its “Push” based technology. Only the most appropriate vacancy gets dropped on to the smartphone of the user. Civet matching engine also provides a “Civet Rating” to each vacancy. Five-star rating indicates the best match. Job Seeker can directly apply from Smartphone to a job publisher.
