The Certified Service Manager certification (CSM) was developed by the National Electronic Service Dealers Association (NESDA) to provide a means to measure the knowledge needed and obtained to manage today's advanced service business.

Fifty percent of the exam covers general information, including topics such as laws, regulations, customer and employee relations, etc.  The other half of the test covers financial management.
