Jobs4America Director Jim Kohlenberger to Headline ATA Contact Center Economic Development Event

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 19, 2012 - On Wednesday, March 28, the Ohio Valley Chapter of the American Teleservices Association (ATA) will host an event featuring Jim Kohlenberger, director of Jobs4America and former chief of staff for the Office of Science and Technology Policy at The White House, who will offer an in-depth look at economic development in the contact center industry.  The event will be held at the Athletic Club of Columbus located at 136 East Broad Street in downtown Columbus.

Jobs4America is a coalition of forward-looking business leaders committed to creating more than 100,000 contact center industry jobs in the next two years.  The initiative has been praised at the highest levels of government for its forward-thinking and strategic purpose aimed at stimulating the American economy at a time when it is very much needed.  Kohlenberger will share insight on how companies can take advantage of current trends and economic conditions to expand their business to become a vibrant part of this innovative coalition.

The event, titled “ATA Connects,” will also feature a panel of contact center industry executives and economic development officials who will share their experiences and expertise on a wide range of industry-relevant economic development issues.  The panel will include Dan Bemis, president of SP Data; Sam Falletta, chief results officer of Incept Corporation; Beau Euton, vice president of membership for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce; Jennifer Chrysler, director of community development for the City of New Albany; and Sandy Lynskey, chief of the Consumer Protection Section in the Ohio Attorney General's Office.  

In addition, Michele Shuster of MacMurray, Petersen and Shuster, one of the foremost authorities on contact center compliance, will provide an update on the latest federal and state regulatory issues affecting the contact center industry.
