Scottsdale Store Shares Collection of Customer Recipes and Stories

March 19, 2012 - PRLog -- SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (March 15, 2012) – The Jewish Collection, a family-owned specialty store located in Scottsdale celebrates the Passover season with its annual gift giveaway. For the 6th year, store owner Nancy Brooks will be handing out the Pesach cookbook featuring a collection of customer’s Passover recipes added to year after year, along with a book of lighthearted Passover jokes to help keep the kids entertained during the Seder gathering. The complimentary books will be available for pick-up beginning Friday, March 30.

“The Passover rituals are centered on a traditional feast where friends and family come to the table,” said store owner, Nancy Brooks. “Each year, we invite the community to submit their family recipes so we can create a cookbook to share with other families. We also thought it would be fun to make a book of our favorite jokes and song parodies to keep the children and some of the adults interested and entertained during Seder.”

The cookbook includes family favorites for breakfast, appetizers, main dishes, sides and desserts. “Grandma Gussie’s Cremzel” and “Make you forget its Passover Eggplant Parmesan” are just two family recipes the book features. All recipes are Kosher for Passover.

The Jewish Collection is located at 10820 N. 71st Place, near the northwest corner of Shea Boulevard and Scottsdale Road where they have a wide variety of beautiful Seder plates and serving pieces, kosher cooking utensils, adult and children’s Passover story books and other holiday accessories and gifts.
