Now the people know the route the Olympic Flame will be carried along they can start planning how they might celebrate and make it Swansea’s moment to shine.” The Flame will end up at the Olympic Stadium in London on 27 July for the lighting of the cauldron at the Opening Ceremony. Swansea Council has also launched a campaign called Be Part of It that’s encouraging people to make the most of the London Games by organising Olympic-themed events to celebrate sport and exercise.
